VB!?! - sheesh I'd drink XXXX before that God-forsaken ejaculation of chemicals.
If you seriously want to get drunk on beer start at the right end of the alcoholic content scale with something like Rochefort 10 - or just go straight for the industrial ethanol, so long as it's not denatured (like VB is).
I just love Koalas - they go great with Bacon.

I saw an old can of KB the other day, thankfully it was empty so when I kicked it my toe survived.

I'm assuming you mean Castlemain Fourex (rather than some non-kid-sister-friendly four letter word
Personally I don't drink either. I quite like VB, dislike XXXX and tend to drink 'light' beers when no on a binge.
Being an ex-Pom I also go for any UK beers I can get - they come in bigger cans!

Maxxx_ wrote: I'm assuming you mean Castlemain Fourex (rather than some non-kid-sister-friendly four letter word
Exactly - although sometimes I'm not sure about the difference.
I used to live in Victoria (home of VB), and also in Brisbane where I worked 200m from the Castlemaine factory. Along the way I got to know more than a few people in worked in the respective breweries (or who had family members working for them). Simple answer to why both are so foul is that the brewing processes are pushed so hard that the beers simply don't have time to 'brew' properly, especially in the case of VB.
Also on the subject of Aussie beers, the old 'premium' beer in the Aussie market are 'Crownies' (Crown lager). They used to be a very nice drop, a long time ago, now they are literally a watered down version of another common Aussie throw-it-back (throw-it-up) beer. I'm sure some people will enjoy figuring out which one.
Maxxx_ wrote: Being an ex-Pom I also go for any UK beers I can get - they come in bigger cans!
Not that much of a fan of the UK beers, but I'd prefer them over most of the 'common' Aussie beers any day.
I'm a very ex-Kiwi myself, and apart from some of the 'boutique' beers in NZ (Macs and Shakespeare for instance) I wouldn't touch most of them either.
One fortunate thing about living in the Solomon Islands is that it has an extremely good brewery. They literally imported Bavarians to set everything up and train the locals. I'm just grateful that I'm not living in Fiji - If you've never tried Fiji Bitter, it's a life changing experience, just not in a good way.
I just love Koalas - they go great with Bacon.

If you ever get a chance to try Theakston's Old Peculiar - it's a marvelous drop.
For a more common draught ale, Director's was my tipple.
But I now find myself allergic to beer...
... after seven or eight pints, I start to go a little dizzy and sometimes even feel nauseous!

Definitely "Just Casual". My first customer support enquiry of the day was answered from the sofa shortly before breakfast, and believe me I didn't "get the suit out" for that.
Oh and Fleetwood Mac, followed by a liberal dose of Pink Floyd (for investigative thinking) or Motorhead (for the heavyweight stuff).
Also, I wouldn't bother with either Vegas (too ostentatious) or the Caribean (far too dangerous, given the level of transphobia there). I'd be happy almost anywhere to tell the truth - this year's holiday (yippee! We have a holiday this year) is likely to be a week of walking around wild and wacky regions in Northumberland looking at old castles.
Oh and Tom Cruise is really, really, annoying.

While I'd love to go to Las Vegas just for the experience (I've never been before), I'd probably enjoy the Caribbean more.
code-frog wrote: Order from habit or always check the menu?
It depends. If I know what I want I'll just order it. Often I'll ask if there is anything special today.
code-frog wrote: Is Tom Cruise or Tom Brokaw more annoying?
I don't know who Tom Brokaw is, but Tom Cruise is a complete tosser.

Reese's Pieces or Peanut Butter M & Ms? - erm M&M's as they are easier to get here
Windows Mobile or Palm? - Android (that was an option right?)
More RAM or faster processor? - Depends on which would be the better solution at the time
A weekend hanging out with Jobs or Gates? - Gates, not sure why though.
Jerry Seinfeld or Eddie Murphy? - Eddie Murphy (he is a legend)
Classic VB or Java? - Have to say Java at the moment.
Business Casual or Just Casual? - Casual
Source Control or Not? - Why would anyone pick not?
The Beegees or Fleetwood Mack? - I have no answer for this (man these questions are getting tough)
3 Nights in Vegas or 4 Days In the Caribbean? - Vegas - it can be done just like in the film 21 right?
Order from habit or always check the menu? - Asking for the usual tends to do it :P
Is Tom Cruise or Tom Brokaw more annoying? - Not a clue who the second guy is so I will have to say Cruise
Ozzie Osbourne or Mick Jagger? - Ozzie!

0) Reese's Pieces - Better yet, Peanut butter cups
1) Windows Mobile - I have a strong aversion to the Palm OS.
2) More RAM - you can never be too thin, to rich or have too much RAM!
3) A weekend hanging out with Gates - to me he seems like he would be more interesting.
4) Jerry Seinfeld - so I could ask him what his damn show was REALLY about!
5) Java - I LOVE VB but I will never go back to the classic stuff!
6) Business Casual - just plain casual leaves it too open.
7) Source Control - roll backs rock!
8) Fleetwood Mack - the lesser of two evils
9) 4 Days In the Caribbean - nothing beats a day on the beech with nothing more than a rum drink and a hammock!
10) Always check the menu - I hate ruts.
11) Tom Cruise - and i would jump up on my couch to say so!
12) Ozzie Osbourne - you really had to ask?

I have written a bit of code which I wish to post here as an article. But I have few problems:
1. I cant think of a decent name to it.(It lets you draw rectangles on screen and then edit, move, resize and delete them)
2. I dont think I would do justice with the article description(language wise).
3. I dont know that if it is good enough to be a CP article.
Any help?
The word "politics" describes the process so well: "Poli" in Latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures."
