I am focused on the sentence: Trolling, (political, climate, religious or whatever) will result in your account being removed.
However, is bashing and trolling M$, Apple, Google, Meta, etc. when they, as companies, act stupid with their technology/programming/API offerings, OK?

It's not bashing. It's discussing, in painful detail, the issues that we face using our tools as part of a thoughtful dialogue.
To be honest, the state of software today is doing my head in.

Back when I was working with a lot of USAF officers, they called the syndrome FIGMO: F___It - Got My Orders. Is this a change of jobs, or actual retirement? I retired in 2016 then, last year, got a call from an old boss asking me to come back to help build an infrastructure for a new Tribe. So far it's been way more fun than retirement!

Actually both. I've mainly worked/consulted at this one place for 20+ years. The culture changed management-wise 5 or so years ago. Left a bad taste in my mouth, but the $$ was too good to walk away from. 5 years later, I'm in a better position financially, and I'm just tired of doing the same stuff. I expect to expand my local consulting to help small local businesses, etc that seem to be paying way, way too much for IT support.
One thing I'll admit too - after busting it for 40+ years, "retirement" is a hard thing to get my head around. One exciting concept is to be able to say, "I think I'll go fishing today..." and I don't like to fish, but my grandson loves it.

Iβm in the same situation. One good thing we can do at my work is ease into retirement. Presently I have voluntarily moved to 4 day week, and I can at my discretion drop further days and slowly transition work to other people.
After working for nearly 50 years I would hate to go from a 5 day week to nothing all at once. Sounds good in theory but I fear in reality it wouldnβt be. Hence I see this as a training period and readjustment of my lifestyle for retirement.
A Fine is a Tax for doing something wrong

The customer is willing to do that, and has said, hey, if you ever want to come back.... which was very gratifying. I'm starting to see the benefits of sabbaticals with one looking me in the face.

They say people live longer if you don't "retire". Doesn't mean do the same thing, but find hobbies or a different type of work to give you something to wake up for. The mind, body, and spirit are really all connected.

A therapist I was seeing for a while had the following advice on retirement: "Don't." He was a recovering alcoholic. When he retired, after a while he started thinking about drinking again. He went back to work part-time as and when he felt like it. His point was that you should stay physically, mentally, and especially socially active. If you don't want to work, volunteer. Go back to school and learn something. Go back to school and teach something. Find something meaningful outside your comfort zone.
Now, I kind of took Pat's advice with a grain of salt since he was demonstrably insane. We're both cyclists. Well, given that most people who are retirement age wish they could ride.... maybe he's on to something.
