for me it is more times than I care to admit. However I always learn alot when trying things like this. Just because you can do something programmatically. it does NOT mean you should.
Today's minor (very minor) fiasco taught me something about a certain software package from Microsoft. It really shouldn't work that way but it does.
Oh well backups!

Ahh yes, good old:
Remove-Item –path c:\sharepointdata\ –recurse
works wonders for treating sharepoint installsinfections every time. 
PS is there a way to get powershell syntax highlighting?
