When inquiring about booking a campsite, should you use the future conditional tense?

Well, anything in the future is, almost by definition, conditional (on your not being run over by a bus in the interim, for example), so it's not wrong to use that tense, but in practice it depends really on how certain your plans are.
As a POI, while your use of "inquiring" is again not technically wrong, in general I think "enquiring" would be the more accepted word in this case. "Inquire" and "inquiring" are more usually reserved for a more formal type of investigation (inquiry), while "enquiring" is for more general "asking about" usage. IMO.

Depends if you are speaking pre 1850ish English (ie American, or reading British books older than that, such as Trollope for example) or modern British English.
Today Brits use 'enquiring' and 'ensure' etc, Americans use 'inquire' an 'insure'.
One of the many subtle changes in English, such as changing 'anti' (for before, as it is in Italian) to 'ante'.

Ante in Italian means door though, not related to our ante, which means before. (Italian is anti)

As a noun anta = door (related to furniture), ante = doors.
As a prefix though it means "before", i.e. anteguerra = pre-war.
Anti is the usual prefix for "contrary to, adverse to".

It would be "before the pastI", with pasti being the plural of pasto, which means meal. And yes, you are right, it is an exception, most likely it changed with use for phonetic reasons.
I understand that pasta is a mainstay of our cuisine but it's not that important to refer to the generic concept of appetizers as "something consumed before the pasta"

I usually don't enjoy phrases like "losing faith in humanity" but when I see this[^], I may reconsider it.
Either my fellow co-citizens are so stupid that they can fight for nutella - talk about first-world problems - or too poor and this is such an opportunity for them that they are ready to fight to stand for it - which is kind of sad. Anyway, the whole thing is pathetic.
