I see, just seemed strange that's all. Although these are the most populous nations, the number of internet users is surely greater in European countries.
The Chinese one's probably blocked over there I presume, or everyone uses the local forums. Maybe a Japanese forum would attract more visitors. Or maybe not, they're sure to have plenty of their own places they haunt already.
Maybe one catch-all international forum? The Babel forum? Of course that would be a nightmare to moderate.

At one stage we had a bunch if chinese trying to get support in their language.
As for the indian one, unless you love cricket don't bother, that one is cultural rather than language. I think it was requested just to get the cricket out of the Lounge, 5 page threads discussing the attributes of player was not interesting to any but those participating.

It's mainly politics now. You'll be hard pressed to find any cricket. The 5 page threads you mention were never in the lounge I don't think. The creation of Git coincided with the cricket World Cup so there was a lot of cricket in there to start with.

Yeah partly my fault, my current domestic situation means I haven't watched much cricket and wasn't really following it. I think the first test I only checked the result when the second test started.

The Indian forum was requested because we had many new Indian users who joined and weren't aware of the etiquette of the lounge. Unfortunately they tended to get a lot of abuse. Having a separate forum helped introduce them to the expected behaviour of the site without them being attacked. This is a good thing.

Here's how I see it typically pan out.
Lounge-Indian : Dear sirs, could someone revert back to me and do the needful regarding this 101-level C# programming task that I am being paid for in my day job?
Lounge-Brit : (makes sarcastic response punning on arbitrary words from above response)
Lounge-American : F you, you took our jobs.
Lounge-Indian : How can you say that to me? How can you slap?
Lounge-Brit : (makes another joke only other Brits would find remotely funny about the American, hinting at his being a Trump supporter)
Lounge-American : F you (to the Brit), you all have horrible teeth.

Most interestingly, today its main purpose is for people who moved from India to other countries to stay in touch with the happenings there. The active participants are all non-Indian citizens/residents.

I just reset my PC to factory - AGAIN!
I've never done a Ghost image before. I want to ghost my Windows 7 PC and I'm considering using AOMEI Backupper.
1) What does a ghost image really do for me? Can I use it to restore a PC after all my apps are installed?
2) Any reason not to use AOMEI Backupper?

Image utilities like Macrium's Reflect or AOMEI can create image snapshots of an entire disk partition, or collection of partitions. This will normally include the entire operating system and all applications in the relevant partition(s). When you re-image the systems drive, absolutely everything reverts back to what it was when the image was taken.
In case of a virus attack, or if I need to restore the machine for any reason, it takes me less than 10 minutes to install a previous image.
I take a new image every time there is a significant change, like a new Windows update, or any changes in installed apps. I prefer Macrium's Reflect - the free version, but Griff likes AOMEI. See the thread about Windows 10 backups below.

I have been using norton ghost since windows 2000 until windows 7. I love it and would continue using it... problem is... he can't manage the new laptops, that's why I started the thread below.
The ghost image will restore giving you the shortcuts in "recent files" and even the "bin" will have the same content as when you did the image.

When you create an image, it's a snapshot of the whole disk - and you generally create a "boot disk" or "boot USB" at the same time. When your disk needs to be restored, you boot from the disk or USB (which loads a minimal OS, often Windows PE[^] based and includes the restore software).
The restoration overwrites the entire disk with the saved image and puts your whole system back where it was before the problem occurred. Anything you had installed when the image was created is restored, as is all your data.
I take a full image at least monthly, and incrementals at least weekly after that: my 2 * 1TB drives (122.7GB + 235.8GB used) come in about 230GB, with incrementals at 20GB or so. (And I do hourly incremental copies of my projects to my NAS as well, but it's not really paranoia honest - disks really are out to get you!)
As Cornelius says, I like AOMEI it just works - and I'm not being paid to say that (hint, hint, AOMEI)
Their Partition Assistant is damn good as well!
