Nice. When I was let go from my previous position, with no warning (or hostility), I had the summer off for the first time in decades. No job prearranged to take its place but the three-month hunt was not at all unpleasant. We do get those long Euro-cations in the US - so your month off seems like a lovely dream.

A real dream were the summer breaks while in highschool. Three months! If I only could have sent those pesky parents on a nice long trip. Let's say for about 11 weeks.
