Well if you do not eat that type of food often, it is not the best thing to order. Fast food version is a poor example. Hope you feel better soon.

All this talk of cake made me hungry. Guess what I'm doing right now? Enjoying a slice or three of sponge cake and sipping a hot cuppa tea! It's a public holiday in Ontario and I'm busy working on my (personal) Android app and enjoying the eastern view from my bedroom window.

Depends on the oil it's fried in. If it's cheap rapeseed or sunflower oil, you'll be lucky not to puke -- and if it's put in before the oil's hot enough, you'll need more than luck.
A fine clean olive oil (or peanut, if you control the temperature) is OK, but I've tasted some that might as well have been done in sump oil.
