Now, I personally, don't have a problem with the questionable comment the stewardess made. I would not want to die on a plane, either, especially by ice on the wings.
However, after sitting in the plane for 8 hours, not going anywhere, I think I would want to die then.

At least now in the US there are mitigations for that sort of thing
- If it takes too long, and 8 hours is too long, the plane must return to the gate and the passengers can debark.
- If it takes too long the airline might have to find different pilots because they are not allowed to be working for long periods.
- If it takes too long the airline will be fined for each passenger and it is a substantial amount.

Anyone have any idea why I can paste things everywhere except Facebook? This, for instance: "copyright_law_shouldn_t_keep_me_from_fixing_a_tractor.html"
Pasted right in, here. But a control-v or a right-click-paste in Facebook does nothing.
It used to be I just couldn't paste in comments, but as of today I can't even paste into a status update.
