I remember when that was totally modern. I still remember my first program, longer than one line, on that thing.

I had a little trouble with my parents and spent the day in a shopping mall. In a Radio Shack there was a brand new TRS-80, switched on and the manual was lying besides it. Later a neighbor who was looking for me dragged me home and I was totally uninterested in whatever the whole thing was about. I told my poor parents that I needed a computer.
