AFAIK, As soon as you step off Yankee US soil all hard A-s become Soft.

I guess that's because US Yankess are hard a$$es and others are just not.

Can't help feeling that the name Orion is a throw back to the Nuclear powered Rocket from the '60s, it such a waste that the Apollo was binned totally, the US lost it's way after the moon missions (didn't say landings as it could cause a flame war). Off topic but have you read the Andy Weir book The Martian?

, with Orion the US can take the lead again in planetary exploration, which looks to a chance to beat China/India moon missions ('Moon been there, played a round of golf there!'). I just wish those in power would see the benefits, I mean the UK's space program was abandoned as money saving just when it was starting to bear fruit!
