This September 12 essay in the "New Yorker" by Marc O'Connell, "How to Understand Your Computer" is kind of yet-another-naive-computer-user wondering: "what does it really do," but, I think it's a very worthwhile read because of its exposition of Chandra's ... both novelist and programmer ... thought.
One quote about ... and from ... Chandra in the article:Quote: Chandra brings to bear Sanskrit aesthetic terms such as dhvani and rasa (which might be reductively translated as “resonance” and “affect,” respectively). “Code,” he writes, summarizing the more facile equivalencies drawn between the two forms of expression, "is denotative, [while] poetic language is centrally concerned with dhvani, that which is not spoken; the end purpose of code is to process and produce logic, and any feeling this code arouses in an immediate sense is a side effect … Code may flirt with illegibility, but it must finally cohere logically or it will not work; the language of art can fracture grammar and syntax, can fail to transmit meaning but still cause emotion, and therefore successfully produce rasa.
While, overall, I find the essay facile, and, in its brief coverage of Countess Ada and Babbage, shallow, I do appreciate that it's led me to find a very interesting novelist: I hope to read one of his novels, soon.

The plot can be improved and made more realistic by distributing 'Girl goes shopping' between every sentence.

Last few days I have answered so many C# and ASP.net,JS and so many other questions on the quick answers section. Some one down voting my every answers if I had working examples on jsfiddle, dotnetfiddle or even users has accepted the answer. He wants to remove me from Top experts in the month and Top experts in the 24 hrs. Some times I had some arguments with some members when answering. I think on of them wants to pull me down. I cant find who is doing that. Help me plz..

Only the admins know - and they don't tell.
It may be a stalker - someone you have annoyed- or it may be someone who is looking through all the answers and doesn't like yours. It happens. Or it could be that your answers are rubbish - I don't know, I haven't looked.
Ignore it. If it's a stalker, then your bringing attention to it gives him an impetus to continue: it shows him it is working, so it encourages him to carry on downvoting you. Improve your answers and ignore the downvotes.

I cant' tell about stalker, but by looking in the last 10 answers the second guess is not far from truth...

Yes, I agreed with you. and if you looked on ,y last 10 answers 5 answers are accepted. Any way will see. I dont want to go back. I just wanted to help others from my knowledge and improve my as well using their questions.

That's why I don't downvote often, and almost always leave a reason.
I'm not fond of the "attitude" that anonymous downvotes and abuse reports generates. Authority without responsibility is never a good idea

Yes, I know you are a good adviser. And I have got tons of things from your advises if you remember those. I always accepted and think about what seniors say. You have up voted my answers some times and I realy appriciated and very glad on them. But annoyed down votes are really give bad feelings on me. Any way will see. He is not a new member any way. He is weighted 2 and giving me -4 when voting.  . I will give up he might get tired one day. Thank you for caring.

-4 is trivial - it's a low rep voter. -16 is a medium-to-high rep downvote (I have a number of those  )
Ignore it - it's probably just someone who didn't like your answer to him and is getting "his revenge" as best he can.
It's not as if rep points could be exchanged for beer tokens! (But I wish they could be)

I've tried (as have many others) - his feeling seems to be that naming people encourages retaliation and feuding.

At least this guy should be a man and combat you using comments or arguments, not stalk voting.

It's me. I am actually a spy from, well, a concurrent site, and every other day, I choose a brilliant soul on CP and downvote everything he posts. It is kind of tedious, because brilliant people tend to be quite numerous here, but I hope I will get the bests' reputation ruined at some point of time.
The other part of my job is to approve crap articles and upvote them. This is also not easy, because I have to go and read things that make my eyes bleed.
I have two colleagues who go through computer science homework books and copytype questions from there in the Q&A section, after doing some Google translate English->Klingon->French->English. Thank god, the translation is now automated using a clever VB6.0 script running in an Excel97 Spreadsheet on our Vista machine (the real machines are used by our numerous community managers, so we are left with the rest). Creating accounts with fake Indian or Eastern European forenames takes most of the time, though, as well as rereading the posts to get the intelligible English sentences out that survived the translation script.
My boss also shows up from time to time, choose randomly a CP regular, spam-vote all his recent posts using sixteen different accounts to get him banned, and angry. If he succeeds, he celebrates by picking up a post in the Lounge or the Soapbox (bad jokes are usual suspects), and reposts it with an adequate title ("I bet you have never heard this one").
So far, we have not succeeded much in bringing chaos, but we are happily helped by some folks who do all this naturally, or even posts some cryptic clues or quotes or pictures of spray-can-painted stars landscapes, neither of which we have ever understood, so I keep faith.
