It's an odd sci-fi movie with a lot of 1980's nostalgia. The plot, setting, and characters are the types of things a mentally ill person would hallucinate after taking the wrong medication for a month.
With that being said, it will probably become a classic, so go on ahead and see it.

It's very entertaining. Granted it doesn't require too much in the way of brainpower, but it is very good.

The USA could dump much of the deep south and other states who receive more from the Federal government than they pay in taxes.

But the place has a lot of nice architecture!
Just send the current population to somewhere where there's room for them (northern Alaska comes to mind), and let decent people take over the city, to enjoy the buildings that their taxes paid for.

Being from the deep south (Louisiana) I'd have to disagree. Sure, we're lazy. And, most of us aren't educated. But let's face it, when it's time to live it up and party like there's no tomorrow people don't talk about North Dakota.
