I was more referring to overcooking after the roasting. Coffee sitting on burners in offices scorching. Don Draper's just sipping it black and making the face and then sitting back satisfied. This is the way coffee should taste. A real man drinks coffee black no matter how bad it tastes.

I was to the point of having one, maybe two, each morning during the week. However, within the past week or so I've completely cut out coffee. It wasn't really intentional, I was just focused more on getting to my desk and working. We're on a large project. And I actually feel so much better, and I have more natural energy than when I was drinking as little as one cup a day. Haha.

Roughly 2.5 kilos per 5 weeks. I have it roasted for me and get it 1 day after roasting. 
According to my calculations, I should be able to retire about 5 years after I die.

Well, we have coffee service at work, so not sure about the quantity.
But, 5 to 7 12-ounce mugs per day; most of them made with K-cups.
And consumed black... so sweetener or creamer.
It isn't espresso (sp), but I enjoy the taste and sleep well.

At home I go through about 1.5 kg in two weeks, but I manage 3 times that at work. After work I switch to scotch.

About the same, but I do very little coding these days. 
1kg bags of Belaroma #5 (I buy two at a time for free freight), straight into the freezer. Top up jar in fridge to feed the grinder. A bag lasts 4 or 5 weeks, depending on visitors.

Actually, _I_ am already annoyed when out of WIFI reach, so I can image this working really good on the kids.
Makes me remember these days where you could not phone and Internet at the same time; my mom used to pick up the phone while I were on the Internet just to break the signal and annoy me.

Some of us remember the days when you couldn't phone and internet (is it a verb now?) separately either. Those were the days.

And I - and I remember how slow it was, and how everything took, and how often it would hang up for no obvious reason (usually towards the end of a long download), and how you'd get virii that changed the number you dialed in on so it went to their pay-per-minute connection, and... :grrrrr:
