I was just talking about this with SWMBO the other day.

For broadband, telephone and TV the cost for us is now around £1000 per year, when did that happen?

Its now the third biggest expense for a typical household.

1. Energy
2. Mortgage - If you have one.
3. Telephone, TV and broadband.

You'd think they would offer a better service! Mad | :mad:

Virgin did the dirty last year, sending a letter about my bandwidth increasing for free then one week letter sending me a letter saying 'by the way, we are going to charge you more'.
Last week the [insert Anti-Nowhere League lyrics from 'So What' here] informed me they would be charging me another '£3' a month(sure I can afford it but it's the principle and they really don't need that extra £3).

I wonder if the competition commission needs to be informed so that they can do ~~something~~ nothing about what looks like a cartel between the ISPs.

Yep there went my morning too! But thanks for the link, I never really knew there history.
