I have been historically using Yahoo mail as my mail private address, and I must say I was very satisfied with pretty much everything about it : a lot of useful features, simple UI, more storage than I will ever be needing, etc...

And they changed everything. For bad.[^]. I hope Leslie did not tell you already-- but I suspect most of you to use Google or Outlook anyway.

They pretty much ruined it overnight. They removed all the neat features, tried to "guess" what users would like, and did not even beta-test it.

There are a few hacks to bring back the old design, but this will not be available for long. I would really hate to change my eMail provider after 13+ years, but I see no other option for the moment,

I have a live account (as in blahblah @ Live.co.uk)
But I also run my own personal server and have a couple of emails that I run off personal domains.
I keep one of them as a dumping ground.
Very useful thing to do.

However the live account is the one I give out the most as it is the most historic.
Plus I have it already set up on every device.

I think someone was moaning about it on here over the weekend.

I've never used any of those big free email accounts, initially used one from whoever my ISP was, but as I started to change got one from a mate who owns a domain this is interesting (to me).

Slowly migrating over to my own domain, mostly use Thunderbird or phone email clients to access the mail, very rarely use the web interfaces.
