I am slowly warming up. I turned the chair to the radiator and I have my legs stuck right up to it. The sun has come put, the birds are cheeping [or at least coughing melodically] and I soon have to go and pick up the grils.

None of that happened to me.
I was walking my dogs before I went to work this morning. The weather was spectacular 23°C (74°F) and not a cloud in the sky. I felt the same kind of pressure you mention and since I was right by the ripe-smelling-dog-poop-bin, I figured I would be safe, so I released the pressure...Nothing but air. 
Hope you have dried off by now.
