While my heritage is not from spanish-speaking or Hispanic cultures, I am personally offended by how this article is presented wherein both an individual and multiple cultures of people are disparagingly degraded and/or demeaned, implied and/or explicit, throughout this article.

Chris made a change a few months back, which allows members with certain privileges to see articles that have been 'deleted'. I am also able to see the article even though I do not have Editor privileges and my Author level is pretty puny, so I am not sure what you need in order to see those articles.

I think I would have objected on the grounds of the article's utter triviality and poor quality. The fact that it takes the piss (quite badly) is neither here nor there.

I don't find it in the least bit offensive, and neither would any of the Mexican Americans I know. It is a rather awful contribution in technical terms, but it is in no way offensive to anyone but hyper-politically-correct twats of a Liberal persuasion.

There is no genetic race of United-States-of-Americans. So, unless they have dual citizenship, there's no such thing as a "Mexican-American" (or any other such hyphenated concoction). We're all just Americans.
