It threatens to be tolerable for a good 30 seconds (some kinda record Shirley), but quickly descends into a cacophony of unrelated meanderings and finally into farce once the anti-vocal starts. Still, as rabbles go ...
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

Now I'm going to ask you again, what do YOU like?
I'm starting to think you just don't like music in general

Then you haven't been paying attention! I've made several positive posts about music not least a couple of IDETLIBIMHTCMMNAOTWs! Who knows? Tomorrow (new release day on Napster) may even bring another one!

Meanwhile I still don't know what music you like (just that you don't like anything I ever posted)

Er ... you replied to at least one (actually I think both) so ... well ...

Now that can't possibly be true ... can it? Let me think ... no, no, fair-dos, it is!

So I've searched far and wide and found this[^].
That explains why you don't like my music
And I do remember that by the way, what I can't remember is that is was posted by some guy (girl?) called 9082365
On an unrelated note, do people keep forgetting your birthday or was that the other random number?
|
|
|

Aren't all birthdays random numbers? Anyway I forgot my birthday a long time ago. It's only fair and decent that everybody else should do the same!

I think you need to change your subject to "Obscure soundtrip of the week"
|
|
|
|
|
That does pretty much cover it!
And I've got lots more of that
|
|
|
|
|
I can beat you any time[^].
But I won't, I guess I should start a "Not So Obscure Rocksong Of The Week" instead.
|
|
|
|
|
Rammstein, is that you?
This song[^] popped right up in my head after he said "Du hast" (can you really blame me?). Other than that it sounds like Rammstein.
I'm sorry, but you're not half as obscure as you should be.
How about this one[^]?
Whenever I play Aluk Todolo I go into trance and don't wake up until the ehhh... music(?) stops
|
|
|

No come on, Rummelsnuff is not NDH. He's just himself.
I think it's just because you hear german.
But if you like NDH you'd probably like Eisbrecher[^]
Sander Rossel wrote: How about this one[^]? That's not obscure, that's just boring arty farty.
Anyway, I prefer weird[^] to obscure anyday.

I had to bookmark this comment chain. So many bands I don't know. I can predict what this weekend will be about

Yeah, this edition of Song of the Week is particularly successful
|

Here's[^] another really fun one. Watch it to the end.

Oh yes, Klaus Nomi was a master.
Hard to know where the persona ended and where the calculated started.
His last show is supposed to be his best ever, it was televised but I have failed to find it.
Knorkator is mostly show, but not just. They're having lots of fun though. And their shows are wild in the extreme.

You seem to be into exotic rock:
Here is another one[^]
it ain’t broke, it doesn’t have enough features yet.

That's a little too soft for my tastes (or perhaps not soft enough)...
Speaking of Russian music, I recently stumbled upon KINO (Viktor Tsoi, Viktor Zoi) - Gruppa Krovi / Blood Type (1988)[^]
Never heard of him, but he/they seem to be legends in the former Soviet countries. It's not bad either, kind of what you can expect from the 80's.

Yeah just FYI what I posted was not exactly russian.
Anyway I hope you will not be able to call this band[^] german or something

Well the lead guitarist has also a finnish band[^]
if that would be more familiar to you.

I've heard of that band. Pretty nice rocking band
The only thing I know about Finnish is that it's ïncooomprïhïnssïblë gibberish

No way he's gonna like that. They use all the notes on the scale for starters and that guy's actually singing!
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

Indeed I didn't, but not for the reasons you mention.
9082365 wrote: They use all the notes on the scale That's just boring, everyone can do that!
9082365 wrote: that guy's actually singing In a language that you don't speak... Whoops, that was a Death Cab For Cutie lyric. Yes, it seems I do listen to understandable lyrics from time to time
