I can see uses for both. I've done both WCF and ASP.Net Web Services, but there are some things in WCF I need to improve my knowledge of.

That depends on the positions you're going after. I'm not a Web Developer. I do WPF. Most corporate environments I've seen use WCF.

I used to say the same thing. Because seriously, if my purchase can be taken away from me at any time, for no reason, who wants to buy into a system like that?
But then I was convinced by a superbly sound argument for steam. Treat it like a rental. If you never pay retail for a game, it doesn't matter all that much if it disappears into the ether. I haven't paid more than $3 for a game on steam since I started using it.
There are other arguments against steam (which you may have) but cost vs 'ownership' was the big one for me.

I have modern warfare, but only played the campaign.... Might give it a go! ^^
Is there a beginner online mode! I even forgot how to play since I played the campaign!

Advantages:
1. You'll stay in touch with code
2. You'll learn Unity
3. You'll get - Fun on the job
4. You'll learn new techniques of networking instead of raising WCF from the tomb.

And that reinforces my decision NEVER to get involved in graphics, it always amazes me the amount of time and energy devoted to graphics. Mind you I do appreciate the effort and will happily use someone else's creations.

Good decision. I intend to stay away too, but the team pulls me into some uninteresting debate on the UI code.  It's needing a lot more reading to contribute a valuable/sensible input!

To be honest, I like reading through articles like these, its very much like learning Win32 programming through Charles Petlozd. But that is all for satisfying real-men points in me. But for actual productivity we move to MFC, umm wait?
People call in anything in C++ as less productive these days.
