A recent survey showed that 100% of respondents did not intend to change their bacon eating habits due to this article as they believed it to be seriously flawed and wildly inaccurate to to insufficient data sampling. My friend saidThe entire group of participants indicated that they considered many of these surveys to be bogus.

People who ate the most processed meats (2.5 slices of bacon or sausage links a day) were 19 percent more likely to develop pancreatic cancer in a recent study. ..and -15% outside of that study? When someone says that "procecessed meats" are bad for you, I tend to believe them. Then again, "processed meat" is a hamburger from your local fast-food vendor. It's pink sludge, or meat that has been glued together.

I have seen the future. Gesture comtrolled computers will be everywhere and open plan offices will be full of people waving their hands and arms all day long. 
I may not last forever but the mess I leave behind certainly will.

Might be a good way to offset some of the obesity we've got going on in this country.
I think they should put down dance pads in people's offices and make 'em dance out their emails. This could not only result in a healthier population but some white people might also learn to dance.

Google has already developed something very similar. It is Gmail Motion. https://mail.google.com/mail/help/motion.html[^] and I use it for all online work.

I often talk/yell to my computer. Most common phrase "Elephant you!" followed by coworkers looking at me to see what is wrong. Maybe one day it will understand me, but then I'll have to be nicer!

Hi,
Just need a rant, this week has been a pita generally, today worse than usual.
1) Walked out the front door into horizontal rain. I'm a Brit so I carry a brolly carrying two bags today as it's Friday so couldn't hold it up, Coat not properly water proof. So I got very damp walking to the bus stop.
2) Got to bus stop, went for phone to check email. Phone not in pocket, commence swearing, walk back to flat, bid to find phone, find phone after 5 minutes search.
3) Get drenched again going to bus stop.
4) Get to work a bit later than normal, Coffee machine is being descaled so no Coffee, look for Tea no Tea! 
5)Find last nights thunder storm upset a test that has been running all week.
6)Have to restart test, get lost in Aglients "friendly" user interface.
7)Forget lunch.
8)Loose all hope and pray for a quiet weekend (some hope!)

The only Public House that is walking distance closed for the winter last weekend, last Friday the entire firm went there and ensured there would be very little left!

Well...there is a new series of "Have I got news for you" starting tonight, so that might cheer you up a little. And QI.
Plus, it's Poets Day, so that should help.
And if it doesn't - go out an buy a waterproof coat!

The worst thing was that it "was" waterproof until a slight accident while "merry" got washed isn't now, new coats a comin'!
