And here I was.... getting excited every time my mileage is a palindrome. You've aimed considerably higher than I..
Missed every digit being the same in my new car by about 5,000 kms. Oh well... only about another 104,000 kms to go!

Now there's an idea..
Wish I'd had it when replying earlier. Sheepishly, I'll admit that it only occurred to me around lunchtime (about 2 hours after replying)

Duffy - Rockferry[^]
I have this pretty large music collection with around 1000 CD's.
At the end of last year I decided to digitalize/archive it all in good quality and I'm still working on it (on and off).
This week I decided to rip my Duffy CD, which got stuck in my head after that.
I really don't know when or why I bought it, but I think during my student days, 11+ years ago and probably because I liked her hit single Mercy.
Last year she posted on Instagram that she had been drugged and abducted on her birthday and raped over the course of a few days, followed by spending ten years alone to recover and going into therapy
Hopefully she can put that behind her and continue making fine music.
Maybe she'll even score another SOTW!

Not quite so new, used to listen to Apashe back in 2013 or so, especially Apashe - Black Gold - YouTube[^]
The style is called (EDM) trap, Wikipedia: "Trap (EDM) or EDM trap is a style of electronic dance music (EDM) that originated in the early 2010s.[5] It blends elements of trap music, which is an offshoot of Southern hip hop, with elements of EDM like build-ups, drops, and breakdowns."
Here's another favorite, LOVE the video, but not safe for work

Loved their hit You & I (the song that plays at the start of that video).
As for involuntary dancing, Fatboy Slim did it best[^]

Yes, well, CEOs like to compete based on who has the largest tech budget.
Because we all know that the larger the tech budget the more efficient the operation.

YES! I've been saying that for a few years now. The author just said it with more words.

Sadly, our industry is full of people who are constantly looking for the next "shiny new" thing. We have lost sight of KISS and introduce ever more complex, and bloated, tools. And with that, we also seem to have lost sight of why we are doing this job. Hint: it's to generate income. Everything else is a bonus. Putting that income in jeopardy by getting distracted by flashy technology, rather than getting the job done, is stu......

IMAO, we should kill off JavaScript. It is used for some of our most critical needs, but is totally non-typesafe, and extremely easy to write erroneous code that will still run.
Surely someone, somewhere, has developed an interpreted language with better safety and correctness guarantees!
