My thumbs-up should be taken as a yes. Sounds like a good idea - though maybe we should extend it to 10:00?

Fine with me - I agree with Derek though, 10.00am would be better - it's going to be difficult to police though being an international site.

This would work! Instead of OG and pkfox answering 98% of the time it would be more balanced with OG and pkfox answering 98% of the time!

Auri - Light And Flood[^]
Auri is the folk band of Nightwish composer and keyboard player Tuomas Holopainen.
They recently released their second album and it's as relaxing and dreamy as the first (which was also featured in the SOTW).
This song in particular got my attention.
Maybe because it's fully instrumental, although I really like Auri's vocalist, Johanna Kurkela, too.
I can recommend listening to the entire album for some relaxed moments this weekend (although just listening to this song will do that too)

I actually know most of the songs in this video.
Pretty cool with the Oz movie.

This song was SOTW some time ago (probably like two or three years ago already)

Totally not my cup of tea.
Maybe if they hired a new singer...

... I'm OK with your viewpoint... Anyway, a big day is coming - Hypocrisy new album 26/11, can't wait to hear it all, as "End of Disclosure" became recently my all-time favorite... Cheers,

Thanks for the reminder.
Noticed they had some new songs and wanted to check them out.
Haven't listened to them since Virus from 2005, but they're alright.
Based on the new songs, I'm going to give the album a few listens as well.
If you like Hypocrisy, you'll probably like another old favorite of mine as well (saw them on "More like this" when checking out Hypocrisy): Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh.
Especially the first two tracks, Cancer of the Soul and Brave New Hell
Peter Tägtgren from Hypocrisy was a member.
They also have (and had) Opeth and Katatonia members, kind of an all-star death metal band.

Best I can come up with is SCORNS, but I can't justify "no more" as "corn" ...

A man walking along a California beach was deep in prayer.
All of a sudden, he said out loud "Lord, grant me one wish".
Suddenly the sky clouded above his head and in a booming voice the Lord said "Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish". The man said "Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can drive over anytime I want".
The Lord said "Your request is very materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports that would be required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of another wish, a wish you think would honour and glorify Me".
The man thought about it for a long time.
Finally, he said "Lord, I wish that I could understand women. I want to know how they feel inside, what they are thinking when they give me the silent treatment, why they cry, what they mean when they say 'nothing', and how I can make a woman truly happy".
The Lord replied "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"
