Yep. I've got over 200 in my Steam account. I don't watch TV so I almost always play for a few hours daily (more now that I'm retired).

Digital property is governed by contracts. I've always preferred physical copies.

A lot of the games I have are not games I would replay. For the games that I would replay, I've been slowly getting copies from GOG where you can get the offline install files. I just wait for a good sale (80-90% off) on GOG. I've picked up older games for as low as $2.
Also, I'm not really worried about Steam at this time. Origin and Ubisoft are a different matter.

Mech Warrior Online (MWO) Free to play where fremium isn't pay to win. Team based game with amazing matches when player actually act like a team.
Team Fortress 2 (hilarious .wav taunts!)
Baldur's Gate (BIG GAME!)
Played a lot of World of Tanks, but prefer World of Warships (aka world's slowest first person shooter!)
Have a love/hate relationship with War Thunder.

Yes, as I am 16, some people would say it is my life. But I only play when I have time... Which is rare...

I play one Star Wars RPG on my phone along with a few low-key games like solitare, freecell, bubble shooter games, etc. No console or PC games.

It's Grand Theft Auto V for me. Exclusively.
I've played the story mode maybe 3 times before getting tired of it. I was never an online gamer, given I always got my @ss handed to me by 12-year olds who have nothing better to do than play games endlessly in their free time. It's only within the last 3 years or so that I've looked at the game's online component. This time around...it stuck.
It's my understanding that the online portion of GTA was originally terrible, but it had gone over many refinements by the time I started playing it...so there was plenty for a newcomer to do. There's griefers, there's modders, but I still get enough enjoyment out of the game to put up with it.
As a kid and until my early 30s, I was a huge gamer...then I quit cold turkey for maybe 10-15 years. Except I always made an exception for new entries in the GTA franchise. And like I said, I even stopped playing the latest for a number of years after having gone over the story mode a few times. The online mode still captures my interest enough so that, after 3+ years, I'm nearing a billion dollars (honestly earned money, no cheats) and have set a goal of reaching that. But my interest is slowly waning, and I suspect that once I've achieved that goal, I won't play it nearly as often.
GTAO is the only game I play, but if I lose interest, I may switch over to Red Dead Redemption 2. I'm not sure if I'll have to upgrade my hardware for that however - it's a bad time to be looking into video card replacements.
And if I stop playing GTAO and I don't get into RDR2? I'll probably be out of the gaming world altogether once again. Which might not be a bad thing.

very surprised. 68.7 billion all cash. Wow, MS has some serious money at their disposal.
Microsoft saved Minecraft, so hopefully, they can save the games that Blizzard and Activision have created.
I mean, come one, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone,....

I hate the whole idea, but ... could they please buy The Expanse TV series and make the rest of 'em? Pretty please with sugar on?
Or would they just give it a Ribbon and stick the Roci in the middle of the screen and call it a new series?

1. Less competition now.
2. Bobby fount a way to get more money while his company was on a decline.
3. Some of the games could be saved, because many talents were leaving the company, and now it could be stopped. Maybe.

No, I'm not kidding. I know a Canadian finance company called Blizzard and Activision vaguely makes me think of VR goggles or something.
However from the discussion above I'm assuming it's a computer games company. As per a thread elsewhere in the lounge today, I don't play them (occasional sudoku and 2048 aside) so have never had any reason to come across them.

So the old rivalry Halo vs. Call of Duty is no more... they are owned by the same company!
