My Dad and his brothers all passed away in their mid 90's.
They stopped eating and just faded away. They did their job.

My mom's side of the family all suffered from dementia. She was worried that that was in her future as well. Unfortunately she died from an undiagnosed cancer which metastasized in her brain. They tried to remove it but it came back in 3 weeks very aggressively. She suffered for 3 months with dizziness, nausea and vertical double vision before she passed away earlier this year. She was 81.
One thing I learned from this was if you get vertical double vision (not horizontal) GO SEE A NEUROLOGIST IMMEDIATELY!

In 1998, our team got ownership of a Windows Application developed by another team. While working on it, one of our team members got an Error Message Box, which had absolutely no text on it, and just an OK button, with an ❌️ mark. Quite an exercise to find out from where this error was coming.

... I mean, when I answered a Q, I'm scanning afterwards for a bigger amount of time whether OP get it solved.
Btw, it doesn't matter whether my answer solved it or anyones other's.

I don't know why that makes you paranoid instead of simply interested in seeing what answers are provided.
If the question is interesting, I'll usually revisit it to see what other answers have been provided.

Sure. Sometimes the questor adds further detail which may affect the answer.

And sometimes they completely change the question, making all of the existing answers look like they're from a different thread.

The AXP192 is a power management module for devices like tablets that run on batteries.
It is an I2C device that accepts commands and returns data over the I2C bus.
The datasheet has a schematic but the commands aren't documented at all.
I did however, find this:
GitHub - tuupola/axp192: Platform agnostic I2C driver for AXP192 power system management IC[^]
Yay, IOCTL commands. It feels like 1986 again.
*sigh*
If I get any of this wrong I brick my new $60 USD device.

Are the commands proprietary, and that's why they're not publicly documented?
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

I don't think it's proprietary. Either I haven't found the full datasheet, which is possibly not in English, or the Datasheet they provided is simply not complete.

There's a 53 page pdf in Chinese at several places on the web (for instance https://www.alldatasheet.com/view.jsp?Searchword=AXP192[^]) . Looks like it has some information that might be of use. The section entitled "Registers" is almost half the whole thing, so there is probably good stuff in there if you can decode it (or find someone who can).

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!" - Hunter S Thompson - RIP

I don`t know for sure what you had in mind when you wrote that, but if it is what I think it is than your statement is accurate for the most part except the ending, the ending does have color and diversity.
