Had to look up this word after I guessed it correctly (this is one of those words metal bands like to use ).
How did you go from two to three?

I know right. I always struggle with that.

Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.

The first word which came to my mind, having no vowels, was this, and it worked.

Seriously, is my answer different than some of you? How are you getting that answer from basically no letters?

When you've excluded a bunch of common letters, it really narrows down the possibilities.
|
|
|
|

Yes. I find sometimes it's not so much guessing the correct word as it is eliminating all other words.

|

This is how i got it. After two guesses I knew it had a single vowel “Y” and I knew that #4 was “S”. Or no other vowels
I always use the same two starters each containing three exclusive vowels (and four exclusive consonants)

After 10 years of using an Android phone, my family finally convinced (coerced?) me into buying an iphone.
I got the iPhone 13 basic.
I already had an iPad so I'm closer to the whole ecosystem.
So when I saw this watch (Apple Watch SE [GPS 40mm] Smart Watch w/ Space Grey Aluminium Case with Midnight Sport Band. Fitness & Activity Tracker, Heart Rate Monitor, Retina Display, Water Resistant[^]) on sale last week (only $219) I decided to go all in.
First day I wore it, it lasted about 4 hours.
Hmmm...??
I made sure I charged it fully & next day it lasted 8 hours.
It doesn't seem right.
Last night I charged it up at 5pm. Very little use from that time, but just a few minutes ago I got a low battery warning & had to put it on the charger.
Have any of you experienced this? I guess maybe I'm going to have to go to an Apple store, but I know they may think I'm just using the device heavily. It's a bit confusing about how to solve this & the thing is brand new.

I have a series 3 apple watch. Mine runs fine. It doesn't drain the battery much most of the time. Occasionally (1 a year) it will run down during the day. I usually just close all apps running on it and charge it. I use it to play golf and it'll last for the whole round.

(It works on my computer)
My series 3 works nicely and still have good battery life; I use it as a watch most of the time and use fitness apps about 1 hour per day (ish)
There are many "how to save battery life" videos and articles out there.

This is the expected answer & why it would be so difficult to determine if it is actually a h/w problem.
Also, the battery lasts a long time when I turn it off.
|
|
|
|
|
I did just turn off a feature I think was possibly causing battery issue though.
I listen to spotify via iphone and the watch was displaying every song.
I turned that off -- difficult to find the option.
Found an explanation here[^], but it was for older apple watch.
Found my way to the setting finally. We will see how it helps.

Not the same watch, but my Fitbit watch recommends not running the built-in GPS unless needed, as that is a battery hog. Does your Apple watch have a built in GPS?
|
|
|
|
|
Yeah, I had a garmin activity tracker which lasted nigh on 5 days before recharge.
This watch does have GPS and that may be the issue.
I'm just curious if this is the expected battery life.
It'll mean I need to charge it 2 or 3 times a day and that at least means I will have something to do with my time on earth.
My Apple Watch owns me & I only live to serve it.
