Now I know why the management types are always putting their fingers in their ears when we speak. They are communicating[^].
It was broke, so I fixed it.

So they're encouraging children to allow Disney employees to do what?
They get more like the Catholic church every year.

Disney convincing parents that its people should be allowed to finger their children.
They've failed to do that, in the past.

And here all along I thought it was where they stored their boogers?

MD was moaning that a drawing he wanted was previewing in colour but printing in black and white.
Walked into his office, unchecked the 'Print in Grey scale' check-box, et voilà.
Sometimes it is just too easy.

Why didn't you take the opportunity to tell him it needed a new colour cartridge? You could have sold him one and once you "installed" it, then uncheck the setting. You could then resell the unused cartridge again.

I had an exec pissing and moaning about something similar a while back. My question to him was, "Are you using the color printer?"
Turns out, he wasn't.

Teens asked to leave MacDonalds for using Cutlery[^]
There is an obvious gap in the market.
Perhaps we should open a place where one could buy food and it could be served on a plate with cutlery provided so as to aid the dissection and eating of the food.
Maybe a small wine list could be added and some pleasant decor for ambience.
It would certainly beat the shovelling of food into ones gob with ones hands like chimps or snuffling straight from containers like pigs being fattened for slaughter.
We could even go for the big one, teaching Americans how to use cutlery properly!
(although I suspect that is one step too far).

IIRC, Wimpy had no truck whatsoever with the concept of "fast" food.

Is that what it was? They used to have something similar on the menu, called a burger, or something loosely fitting the description.

I can understand McD's reaction since metal cutlery could be used as a weapon. Plastic utensils is fine.
