What do you know? Yes! I even tried unsubscribing a few dozen times.

Well, I only fkn asked because I am not a mind reader. You only stated you tried the unsubscribe buttons in emails. Nowhere does it say you have emailed them.
"Unsubscribe buttons don't work."
So, did you even get a response to your emails, or did you enable Delivery Tracking or Read Receipts on the off chance their systems allow them, to see if anyone actually does get them/read them.
You could always try a written letter to their UK registered address.
And, if that that doesn't work, you can turn to the Information Commissioner to lodge a complaint against the organisation: http://www.ico.org.uk/complaints/marketing/4[^]
Now, do you have any more smart @rse back chat you want to try and serve up or shall we deploy a can of whoop-ass in your direction...

Dave, thanks for the last piece of advice.
As for smart ass back chat, you flatter yourself that I care.

It is Monday, it is the last full day of work, I have a relatively easy handover to draft, I get on the paraffin budgie first thing tomorrow....all these things add up to being in a happy mood.
And to top it off, I don't get any emails from them....

My budgie brought me home from TO two weeks ago. I've only been able to face the traditional cake distribution today. If you're going anywhere nice - remember, drink plenty.

Being a Monday it will be a full hour. As the week progresses the duration will reduce towards the weekend, and by Friday afternoon, discussions will be the equivalent of a tweet as folk enter the 'DIGAF'* phase. The 'DIGAF' phase is usually followed by the 'IOOH'** event horizon.
This phenonemom (easy for me to say?), is the "DIGAF Principle".
*DIGAF = Do I Give a F...?
**IOOH = I'm Out Of Here.
|
|
|
|
|
I'm at the permanent DIGAF stage and have been IOOH or a couple of years now and if someone complains about it the FOAD principle that kicks in!
