Now, that's a long password, which implies that you're using a rigmarole (Had to google the translation ).
Possibly in welch.
Totally unbreakable in any case.

Sorry, I'll rephrase that.
Reasonably hard to break with currently known public tools and methods.

Some times the internet really just seems to be defective personalities on parade. I'll never get why people act like this.

But I scanned the lounge and didn't see any negative posts from you ... to be honest I didn't have the energy to look further. It it were soap box or otherwise who cares and it was a programmer forum well, I can't imagine he did very well in them.

Simply put c* thinks that og 'controls' the lounge and so when he keeps getting voted to the pits of hell he erroneously thinks it's og.
TBH I've looked for his accounts before he's even posted and voted them abuse.

I am posting this so that others may help if they wish.
There is no connection between myself and the hospital, it is merely something I do every year and would like to let others help if they wish.
Here[^] is the Luton and Dunstable Hospital Amazon Wish List for those children spending Christmas stuck in hospital.
For those who may be willing to help, please do so.
Alternatively, see if your local hospital has a similar scheme.
All the gifts are low cost, and if you are going to be spending hundreds of pounds on stuff anyway, what is a few pound extra to bring a smile to a child's face?
Thanks to all those who will help.

Best of luck Dave, as an uncle to a guy who has spent many a holiday in the hospital due to illness, I'm all for this sort of thing. It sucks beyond belief to be stuck in a hospital, especially for Halloween or Christmas.
To piggyback off of your plea, I usually donate to Child's Play Charity.[^] They also have a map on the site that lists all the hospitals they work with and links to their wish lists. Plus if your local hospital doesn't have a list with them, it isn't a bad idea to mention its existence to the hospital. They usually are happy for anything they can get.
Like em or hate em, the Penny Arcade guys did a good thing with this one. They used to be a 100% to the kids, but now it seems they do have some administrative fees (about 6% according to the site) which does peeve me off a bit. Fortunately you can go directly to the hospital wishlist and go from there.

I noticed within my "promotions" folder in gmail an email that looked suspicously like an ad. It resembles an email however has no option to reply and a small "(ad (i)) next to it to indicate that it is indeed an ad. It doesn't really bother me, the promotions folder is simply ignored in most cases but it goes seem a little bit sneaky of Google, anyway a 2 second bit of Googling brought me to an article on the subject.

It sums up my childhood.
I loved the RM 380Z, and it was Darwinian getting into the computer room.

I also started on a z80. And I could code Bresenham's algorithm without looking it up. Both the line and the circle version.
It doesn't matter that it's not the 70s anymore, you can still become more than just an other copy & paste programmer.

Ahh, the RM 380Z. How I loved that machine. *nostalgic sigh*

The 380Z was, for a long time, my 'dream machine'. We had one at school and you could book 20 minute slots during the day. If you were early on Monday, you could book a whole after school session [1 hour max]. It helped that the booking sheet was kept by my form teacher in the form room and our class was the first one into the room each day. I normally had at least one afternoon with the coveted 380Z; even when the Beeb's came in I was faithful.

I was a BBC man (child/teenager). It was *so* good. BBC Basic @ 2MHz could outstrip QBASIC or whatever nonsense it was running at @ 8Mhz with 640K of RAM.
And then the Archimedes arrived which decimated every competitor. It wasn't possible to be a geek and not adore this machine - it could do so many things previously impossible. And it says something that the Microprocessor lives on even if Acorn doesn't.

My gf is a developer and she want to buy a new laptop for surfing and development, mostly vs2010 and vs2012. Do you think that surface will be ok for this kind of job or she would better get a normal laptop?
|
|
|
|
|
I think that depends on the power required and things like which keyboard you use.
Might be better off with a decent small ultrabook.

Surface pro, the dockingstation and an additional Monitor ? i´d recommend that
