On a ship we would call it mutiny, but the logic behind it is quite simple. Ignoring won't help (reason it is called a troll after all). Doing a hard wipe of any name resembling his name being registered in the next day or so will just not be able to create. Then you just get help from those not in on it to just keep turning the tables (as it seems to be going)

Best to do is to put a block in the system for the next 24H if any message whatsoever gets written/published or what ever with certain keywords in it, just doesn't get publish but instead just cleared as if there is something wrong with the system. Once the rush is passed and the storm has calmed there would be no more wind up regulars

It is more entertaining seeing the troll than reading about this and that in certain peoples' lives (I won't mention any names.)

I certainly haven't followed the happenings in the lounge lately (to much drivel) but the only interaction I've seen between you and "the contraction" is where you refused to give him your email. Did I miss anything important?

Not that I can recall.
Mind you I might be having a "Senior Moment" and just not remember calling him rude names...

Don't. He may be a troll, but that is no need to troll back.

Just for the sake of interest, I tried a password of the same format as mine through the how secure is mypassword[^] site, and learned a new word: "tredecillion"[^] - as in the site estimates that it would take a desktop PC 235 tredecillion years to brute force it...that's 235x1042 years assuming the site is US based (or 235x1078 if it's British).
I'm still not giving him any of my email addresses though!

It turns out "password" would take 52 seconds, so I wouldn't rely on the results...
[Edit]
password! = 22 hours
password¬ = 40 years
So they must be making character optimisations in their algorithm at the very least.

Interesting, I tried some other noncharacters and still got 22hours. What's so special with ¬?

It's extended ASCII; they're probably assuming a start with 7bit chars optimization.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I thought so too, so I tried with some Arabic characters and ╪ and still just got those 22 hours.

Now, that's a long password, which implies that you're using a rigmarole (Had to google the translation ).
Possibly in welch.
Totally unbreakable in any case.
