Did your cat know that he / she can put one paw on a keyboard and close the active application / window?
Dij does ...
ALT + SPACE + C if pressed together opens the window menu and selects "Close".
And one paw can cover that in a single press.

My cat has learned how to turn off my wifes computer with the power button, and that it really annoys her when he does this.
So, now when he wants food, he sits holding his paw over the button, and meows at her.

You can change what the power button does. Change it to do nothing an no more blackmail from Furball

I could.... if I wasn't on his side

Pro-tip: disabe the power button from windows control panel or any ACPI configuration tool. I had to do it because my "designer" case has the power button on the top side, front right. Exactly where I will press it if I have to insert an USB device on the top mounted panel or just move the case for any reason.

No wonder the Egyptians worshiped cats. They have all the characteristics of gods - capricious, arbitrary, and evil.
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

Yes. My cat has started taking a special interest in my keyboard too. I think he gets it's not a shared activity, which makes it even more interesting.

I didn't know!
But I just tried.. and it works! It closed my browser window I was reading, hahah!
Clearly, your cat is a power user!

He clearly knows more about my computer than I do. I had to try and work out what the heck he did after the first couple of times Chrome disappeared while I was reading.

I spent a lot of time educating my cat to not go on the desk - especially after she costed me 400 km of travel because she shorted the board of a pump I had on my desk for work.
And if kibble-head is around and active I will lock my screen if I leave the computer unattended even for a short while.
