Hello,

Is switzerland good to visit during christmas. I know it will be cold but is swiz on stand still like UK during snow?

What's best place to visit. We just have 4 days.

- Laax[^]
- Arosa[^]

Which is the best one is hard to say, it may depend on your specific interest.
Yep, it will be quite cold, especially in the mountains. I'd recommend you a location in the mountains since there will be snow, in the lower areas there may be only cold rain and fog.

For none skiers:
Lausanne and lake Geneva area
Luzern
Lugano / Locarno

Here (Lugano area) it is almost spring (12°C..) . Snow on top of the mountains, blue sky.. perfect. .

Back around 1976 I went to Lucerne, Switzerland over Christmas. That year they did not have snow! (At that time).

Was a very nice trip.

The People have decided that Mandela is a Pretty Cool Guy - you can't just start disagreeing, especially not if you cite facts. Facts are stupid.

The ANC won in the end, so he was a Freedom Fighter battling against an Oppressive and Brutal Regime.
If they had lost, then he would have been a Terrorist trying to overthrow the Legitimate Government against the wishes of the People. (Just as the pro-apartheid government claimed when they were still in power.)

But they didn't lose - the oppressive regime did. Thankfully.
