That is generally my rule of thumb when playing, but too many years of playing in small bars with large amplifiers has had a lasting effect.
It is a small blessing with a slight curse, it becomes very easy to shut other peoples chatter out, but I have on occaision missed stuff I should have heard.
It was broke, so I fixed it.

Very nice, you've got a lot of talent. I think I heard something you had done a while back you posted on FB and I was impressed. Somewhere I've got a version of Little Wing my old room mate did that sounds just like SRV, the guy had a lot of talent but a real infinity for blow and drink. If he would have become famous he wouldn't have lasted long.

Awesome Ravi. Voted and Bookmarked. I miss recordings that sound as 'alive' as that does, even on these crappy laptop speakers.
Love the title too.

Right on! (+5)...
I also nominate "Dazed and Confused" by either Zep (original) or Zepparella[^]...

He sure is. This was one of the very first CDs I ever bought. I don't think I bought it right when it came out, but maybe in 1986. [No, that can't be right. That's 27 years ago ]

Dire Straits was OK and probably helped get him where he's at but I like his other stuff better.

LOL, that is not how I roll either. It is something I heard recently and your post resurrected it.

The post subject is still displayed on the CP main page, so I guess the hamsters didn't read it that way (and it never even crossed my mind when I wrote it).

I was on the google homepage, and noticed the birthday cake with candles Google doodle etc.
I wondered who had the same birthday as me so hovered over the Google Doodle and the pop up said "Happy Birthday Dave!" clicking the doodle takes me to my G+ profile.
Nice feature I didn't know about!
Now, shame there is no beer and also missing Mad Friday in Aberdeen...

That mean you missed Google 100 years of crosswords doodle?
Happy birthday Dave by the way.
