And let's hope someone buys you the missing keys for your keyboard.

Sincerely hope this company gets a new keyboard for me so...some of the keys in the keyboard are stuck...

Clean it!
Most of 'em have "pop-off" keytops, and they "stick" because of rubbish and liquids like sugary drinks gumming them up.
It's pretty easy to pop a top off, by gently levering at one side. A quick clean, hoover and re-fit and you have a "new" keyboard again. I kept the one before the one before this one working perfectly for fifteen or twenty years that way. (I loved it because it had the right "feel", and only replaced it because I got complaints that no-one else could use it as I'd worn nearly all the keytop legends off! The replacement didn't last long as the spacing was wrong - too cramped - and the keytops slightly too small so I kept hitting two keys at once)

Looks like I live in a time zone to the west of you. I'm therefore living in the past...

First big google doodle fail I've seen - celebrating the start of 20134.
I think they missed the slash.

Google hasn't forgot, Slash is right here[^].
It was broke, so I fixed it.

You used Google to find that, didn't you?
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I bet the 4 pushes the 3 out when it is midnight somewhere.
I also bet that I am not watching it.

Change your computer to 11:59:45 PM, then bring up googel's page. See what happens!
(Haven't tried this myself ...yet!)

Maybe I'm bad at changing my time, but it didn't work for me. Watched it rollover to the new year and nothing happened

About five hours from now my father will put down his keys on his office table, say farewell to his colleagues, walk home and never go back.
He's retiring against his will.
Polio (^) hit him a second time (^) after that nearly 60 years ago he got away with a thinner right arm only.
Doctor says he must exercise, but not just moving his muscles and bones, but his brain too.
So I brought him a 17" laptop and explained him how to search and find things of interest.
But only reading isn't enough, so I intent to find him something to learn, and this what I'm asking you.
Have any idea what to teach a 60 year old man?

what about 'Lumosity' or, teach him a programming language and make him produce something - a game or something serious

Lumosity looks great - thank you.
