Just wrote out a cheque for £8088
Looked up wistfully and sighed.
The whiskerless youth enquired what was up and I told him the value of the cheque and how I used to use 8088's and what a great little chip it was for the time.
Unimpressed, he shrugged and said "Never 'eard of it".
