No, it's bloody obvious it's fake. Notice the guy's stance doesn't change AT ALL when he falls straight down. His arms and legs do not move the entire time he's falling.
Also, the lower lines he's standing on are low power cable and phone lines. Power is always at the top of the pole.
And if you can't tell that flash and fire are 'Shopped in, you need your eye's examined.

I will have to go get my eyes examined then.

I have been shown video of a man being electrocuted. I was in a safety course leading up to doing dangerous work. The last thing I would think of doing would be to place that on Youtube or elsewhere.
I think it shows something about where we are all going when very sombre human moments such as this are broadcast worldwide for the voyeuristic enjoyment of others.
It may be fake but who cares.

Welcome to youtube.

Explains everything does it? We can still exercise our own free will, the few of us left who know what that is.

Putting a youtube link is like putting a big red button saying "Don't click this button".
Yes you do have free will but only after you have clicked the button.

Yes - and I won't be posting it elsewhere.

My point in case you have missed it altogether is that unlike you I would not have put this link up on CodeProject.
That's how you "got me" as you prosaically have put it.

Good on ya!
The world is a better place with folks like you in it.

If you were exerting free will you didn't have to click on the link.

Only in your altered universe where there is right or wrong; no in between.

Please don't click on any links, or red buttons, you see in my posts. They may offend you.

Damnit!
Every time I follow a link into youtube, I end up getting lost in the weird part of youtube. It doesn't seem to take nearly as long to get there anymore either.

I was joking.
The link works great. But then out of curiosity I click one of the next videos, then another, then another and finally I realize "What the hell am I looking at?"
Thanks
