It's a good'un, isn't it?
I stretched that one out over a couple of days to make it last, given the speed at which he is forced to work these days...

He has some determination: I find it hard enough to write articles with a keyboard; to do it all by dictation and then get it read back to him by his assistant at the end of the day...that's gotta be seriously difficult. And he still produces recognisably "Pratchett" books. Kudos to him.

That is actually somewhat funny according to what Wales literally means. Welsh meaning aliens, so Wales is alien land. As naturally Wales is a barbarous land

Only from outside:
The modern Welsh name for themselves is Cymry, and Cymru is the Welsh name for Wales. These words (both of which are pronounced [ˈkəm.rɨ]) are descended from the Brythonic word combrogi, meaning "fellow-countrymen".

Visited Cardiff Bay with the Miss yesterday, lovely place and plenty to do. Miss is trying to convince me to move out there.
I did fall in love with Cardiff Bay a little bit.
