Reads to me like everything he tried to do failed, but he always managed to survive.

Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

How desperate for material would you have to be, before spending all that time, effort, and money doing a joke that everyone has known since they were five?
I'll bet they all think they're terribly creative.

What a thoroughly good man and an outstanding Actor.
What with the current crisis's in Israel, Ukraine, Syria, Iraq etc this one man has stood up and shown that he is a great credit to mankind.
Shake that man by the hand.[^]

Sadly, I lost some respect for him in Troy.

For which side did you fight? Greeks or Trojans?
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here

Given the nature of the CP, shouldn't that be Geeks or Trojans?

saw that pop up as an ad in the top of the Lounge just now.
so clicked on it
To be met with a big "starting at $3.99 a month" banner ad.
I was about to go off, like one does, then I noticed a small orange banner right at the top of the screen. And it looks like they arem indeed, offering 12 months hosting at $1 mer month!

I don't suppose they've got a DNS renewal sale going on? I got a your domain expires in a few more months reminder yesterday.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I didn't notice one, but then I wasn't looking.
I just spent $12.20 on 12 months hosting plus a domain name.
I like a bargain!

I need IRC service to go with my IP and due to IRC exposing your IP to general elephantary (why I don't want to connect directly) most normal hosting companies don't want anything to do with it. An extra few $$'s to keep my IRC and web hosting a single bill is worth the simplified logisitics; and from a risk prevention standpoint I want to keep my dns and other hosting separate anyway.

I was looking at registering a .london domain this week. £485!
Regards,
Rob Philpott.

.london domains should be boycotted until London declares its independence from the UK, non-national geographic TLDs are a really stupid idea. (And where's my .yk TLD?)
|
|

I think its a good idea. London is its own living breathing entity so .uk is too broad. Plus all those who pour scorn on this great town don't have to visit such URLs.
what's .yk?
Regards,
Rob Philpott.

If only, then the rest of us could get on with running a country for our own good, not that of the London bubble.

The only problem with that is that it's GoDaddy. I'll use them for domains, but never in my life would I touch them for a host.
