I think most of those graduates worked at one of my recent employers. Worse IT department ever. We had network outages at least once a week, some lasting hours. Due to the nature of our software, that would shut us all down within an hour.

Sorry, Know it's old, but I couldn't keep it in. It's too hot for a coat now...

You wouldn't want a German Sausage with a Jacket[^] anyway: You want it with Chilli[^] instead - you need the moisture.

Foreign Heathen!
That's a Jacket, or Baked Potato[^]: it's cooked a lot longer and slower than a boiled potato and it retains it's skin - which goes all crispy and tasty. The inside is light and fluffy, and with a little butter, maybe some cheese, it's a Comfort Food meal all on it's own...
For best results, cook in the ashes of a bonfire, or an oven if you must, but never, ever eat one that has been in a microwave.
"Boiled potato" indeed! :tch:

Let's recap: you are disappointed because you didn't get the pic of a German sausage you were expecting?

I didn't realize that "German Sausage" was welsh for "Potato".
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

It isn't: "Potato" is Welsh for "Uncooked Chip" (or "Uncooked Fries" for our Colonial friends)

If he eats a sausage after bathing has a German gone from bad to wurst?

Silly you - Germans don't bathe - they just order the filth to disappear...

Somewhere I read this in a signature:
The worst source code, that you can come across, is the code you wrote on your own one year ago.
I just remember this, because I'm sitting in front of some part of my own code that is three or four years old.
Ok, to see it positive: I learned a lot in the past years.

I disagree. I love my code I wrote 15 years ago, despite the fact that it was VB6.

To reform, they have to show contrition; remorse:

I still occasionally dig into C++ code I wrote 10 to 15 years ago - while parts of it have me scratching my head the majority is perfectly ok
The Lisp code I wrote 10 years ago has me completely baffled

May be that your style was already "adult". I changed my style fundamentally... and that was a good thing
Just to give you an idea about what I'm talking here:
- WinForms instead of WPF
- No Commands
- No Bindings
- A lot of click handlers
- Not a bit of separation between view and model
