Okay, here's the other reason I was annoyed, if anyone cares...I know they don't.
One year ago I tried to publish this article (link below) and they (whoever they are) wouldn't allow it, even though it has code examples and shows how to use fabricJS to create a simple utility.
They wouldn't publish it, so I tabled it. I use the little utility all the time and it's kind of cool.
But, then these other articles get published which show how to download a feed reader. What?!
So now I'm trying to publish it again. Wonder if it will fly?

I'm published!! I'm published!!! w00t! w00t! I'm feeling much better now.
The belligerence has worn off. Well, wait about 5 minutes.

If your article is better which I am sure it is, based on the rather pathetic attempt the other person makes to bump you down the list, you will get more views anyway based on google searches and code project searches.

He's probably one of those guys who fill the Windows app store with paid apps that tell you how to download Firefox or Opera.
Just put him in your "scum" list and ignore. When idiots like that realise that they're not actually gaining anything worth having from such behaviour, they lose interest.

Is there any resentment in Canada over the British queen being on your bills? Or do people just accept it as a part of life.
I am not entirely sure but I would assume Aussie and Kiwi currency would be the same.

She isn't the British Queen.
She is so, so much more.
One of the things she is is Queen of Canada.
Or to give her her full Canadian title (in English); Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, Canada and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith

Bet she's got a big business card with that title?

Even worse in Canada, cos it has to be in French too.

English on the front, French on the back?

You won't be popular in Quebec with that attitude.

No, to appease the Quebecois, it's French on the front in large font, and English on the back in a smaller font ... and the French is so wordy that it spills on to the back!

Well, then I guess the question should have been - do Canadians resent having her as their queen?
|
|

They're basically a German royal family, changed their name from Saxe-Coberg and Gotha during the first world war cos German's weren't too popular at that time, a trick the branch of the family currently ruling in Belgium also pulled off.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Contrary to what our "beloved leader" says, Canadians of all origins and political stances think the queen is useless and while it is part of our history; it is only a symbol of historical significance.

Some do, most don't!
Being an ex-Brit, I'm amazed at how most Canadians often seem obsessed by all things British. My son quickly learned that his English accent was a magnet for the ladies! I was once asked by a woman in a coffee shop to place her order so that she could hear me speak (she didn't pay for my coffee though!)
A surprising number of Canadians thought that I should be devastated over Diana's death and excited beyond belief at Kate's baby. I was underwhelmed by both and loved Private Eye's (a British satirical magazine) front page "Woman Gives Birth".

I've had Christian Graus and Chris Maunder tell me that their Australian accents are a hit with people in the States and Canada, but most times I've been somewhere with Christian, they mistook him for a Brit. Most people can't tell the accents apart.
