That's a bit weird isn't it - categorising a best place to live according to profession? Makes me wonder what the best place to live is for Bee keepers, paramedics and window cleaners.

Well, if you're an Oil and Gas worker, I would imagine that a city that has no connection to the industry whatsoever, would rank poorly.

Maybe the opposite? As an Oil and Gas worker, maybe when you're on land you want to be as far as possible from anywhere that reminds you of a rig.

We have guys who work here in the North Sea on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation and they commute from Thailand.

I think it applies to professions (like the oil and gas industry) that are closely related to geographical locations.

A couple of months ago I asked a question about Office Chairs[^].
I was assessed by our occupational therapist, given a new chair to trial, which was an improvement, but still not right.
Last week I received an email telling me I had won £350 worth of ergonomic office chair, which has just turned up. It looks a lot like the one recommended by Bergholt Stuttley Johnson in the original thread.
A huge improvement straight away.
Only issue now is that the company I won it from wants to use me in a publicity campaign. I have a face for radio and a voice for email.

When I was a kid, I use to think their logo[^] said Armitage Sharks and toilets with this logo on indicated that there were sharks down there. Taking a dump was a stressful business for me as a kid.
