There's a fine line between crazy and free spirited and it's usually a prescription.
I'm currently unsupervised, I know it freaks me out too but the possibilities are endless.

Happy birthday...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Does anyone here use GEdit on Windows? I have a portablized version of GEdit 3.x (x86 and x64). I will post a download and link to it if anyone is interested.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Ouch. I didn't even know what gedit was until your post made me google it.

Only on Linux while editing system files (and I try not to touch anything... you know... if it works...).
I've got my windows editing covered with Notepad++...

I don't know why people even look further than Notepad++, for Windows.

There are better options but they are paid ones.
Anyway NP++ works like charm, fast, reliable, rich on features...

fast and reliable, if the file is less than ~10MB in size

Not the kind of files I usually manage...

I use it to view logfiles. and there are occasionally some that are a bit larger. And the more issues there are the more entries that logfile gets... so I had to resort to writing a small tool to split files into smaller parts (I googled for some but the first 1 or 2 I found needed around 10 Minutes for a 100MB file, while my tool was able to split that file in a matter of seconds...)

Why don't you use VIM?

I was reading this[^] article about different holiday foods from different parts of the world and got curious.
Since there are so many nationalities and cultures on the codeproject it would be interesting to know not just what you're mostly looking forward to foodwise, but also what you believe is the most typical food you have?
For me the answer would be Julbord[^], but since we're going to celebrate Christmas with my wife's family it will be Goose this year.

Never did eat lutfisk, to me it mostly resembles wet cardboard. I'm all in on the ham, meatballs and Jansons frestelse[^] and most of the other stuff.

I wasn't hungry........until now. My mom makes the best meatballs, too bad she's 1300 miles away.
[edit] and Merry Christmas, erm I mean God Jul.

I'm sensing some common culinary roots here. That's also common on the Swedish julbord together with inlagd sill.

That's true

Sill is something I do like but I feel I'm in minority, at least in my family so probably not going the see that served
Have a peaceful and merry Christmas !

Some people here make two different julbord, fish for lunch and meat for dinner.
Merry Christmas to you too!
