I recently changed over to the 64-bit flavor (now Version 41.0.2272.53 beta-m (64-bit)); it likes to eat memory, a lot more than the 32-bit flavor, but you can put it on a diet somewhat by trashing all the Extensions you don't use.
«I'm asked why doesn't C# implement feature X all the time. The answer's always the same: because no one ever designed, specified, implemented, tested, documented, shipped that feature. All six of those things are necessary to make a feature happen. They all cost huge amounts of time, effort and money.» Eric Lippert, Microsoft, 2009

Also, I thought he was more famous for making annoying, patronising car insurance commercials than for writing cryptic crossword clues.

Winner stays on - If you get it right then you set it the next day. It's our way of keeping the cCC going while dave tries to get elected.

Thanks for the explanation.

HU = Hungarian
SS = Merchant Ship
AR = Argentine
HUSSAR = Hungarian light cavalry.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to set this for tomorrow. Nagy can take a second turn, while I'm sailing the Halong Bay.

Nagy is right.
The rules as originally entered did say:
...That person can delegate if work commitments intrude, but the previous winner cannotbe delegated.
So if you can't set it tomorrow, don't enter! :laugh:
...
You will have to find someone else to do it for you - and please, try to be sure you can do it before you answer, or it's not fair on everyone else. (Writing the damn things is harder than it looks)

OK, fair call. Apologies - hadn't seen the rules before...
I'll prepare one now, but I'll have to post it a lot earlier than 09:00 UTC, unless I can PM it to a volunteer to post on time.

If you want, I can post it for you - I'll be around at 09:00, so it's not a problem.
Just use the "email" link on this message, but don't forget the full solution!

Decided I needed a coffee before I thought about a problem: so went to kitchen to make it.
Sat back down to let it brew, and just went back a few minutes later to fetch it.
Hadn't put the water in.
It's getting bad: I now need coffee in order to reliably make coffee...
Help!

I believe, and always have, that some of the member's children frequent this site, as well. With that said, "everything" is fair game.

Could be worse, this morning I made my coffee [latte if you must know] and was rather surprised at how tasteless it was. Steamed milk - check, coffee - still in the shot glass ready to poured in.
