A couple cohorts and I will be doing a WebEx presentation[^] for this month's MIT Consortium for Kerberos and Internet Trust. It's a free webex, I'll be demo'ing HOPE and Eric and Arthur will be talking about something they've been working on called Ceptr[^].
The WebEx is at 1PM EST.
I'd be very interested in your feedback from the presentation and what you think of the ideas!
And yes, there's an article almost complete one piece of the technology called Semtrex, "Semantic Tree Regular Expression Evaluator." Sneak peek is here.

Is today the 'Ask Your Questions In The Lounge Day'?
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.
"I don't know, extraterrestrial?"
"You mean like from space?"
"No, from Canada."
If software development were a circus, we would all be the clowns.

Nope: it's "I can't be bothered to read" Day.

Shall we tell him that he probably inherited that configuration from one of the server's configs?

We'd probably have to explain what a server is...

As with programming questions posted in the Lounge, Code Project will disavow of any meaningful responses. This message will self-destruct in 55-60 seconds.

His original message did. It all depends on you're interpretation of the word "this"

0) Look at the top of this page. It's pretty clear that this isn't the place for questions. Learn to pay attention!
2) Try here instead: http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/ask.aspx[^]
3) Don't post us a link to your file: post the relevant fragments as part of your question. Make life easier for people to help you and you get a better response. Be too damn lazy, and we can't be bothered to help you either.

you need to set the timeout on the client, its easy just open up the register on the client and change the Internet timeout for your app, it can be a pain to do every computer on the planet but can cheat and only do the two that are actually going to access your site
You cant outrun the world, but there is no harm in getting a head start

I was disappointed this year. There was not one genuinely funny April's fool gag. They were all very same-y as well - most of them were video ads for some silly product, well polished, but simply not funny.

I dunno - I quite liked the "Playstation 4 Flow" and the "Google Panda"!

It could have been a bit better - it was too obvious it was a Star Wars AF joke.
I liked the footnote: "Sources close to the Data Centre later revealed that these were not the droids they were looking for."

I think one from saying "sorry but we seems to have made a small hole in the fabric of the universe, but don't panic I am sure we can patch it or bung it up or something" would have ben good

My car insurance billed me €0.00
I'm not sure how funny that is. Normally I'd laugh, but as an April's Fool joke it just doesn't seem as funny.
