I have a daughter who is a special child. She loves the Addams family and watches the show obsessively.
It had the best musical intro of any show on TV, ever.

I didn't know it, so I share it just in case.
Ctrl+Shift+T
It opens the last closed browser tab again. Or the active tab, when you closed the whole browser at once.
Nothing that you couldn't make using the browser history, but it saves time, specially when you close the wrong tab.

Upon closing the Chrome browser itself (with many tabs open), and then opening it and typing Ctrl + Shift + T, it opens all those tabs simultaneously.

Thanks For including the critical information that this is the Chrome browser !

I know you are addicted to very short posts that leave readers guessing ... but, you might have mentioned which browser/browsers this is valid for.

It is easier if you check in the browser that you like to use, than for me to download and install a bunch of browsers just to test it.
And I am not addicted to short posts... it is just lazyness
Oh, by the way. It works in Firefox too, not only in Chrome.

Reluctantly, I believe you, and consider it strange someone who received an Erasmus Scholarship, and has your history, would post the way you do,

Thanks - works in Edge as well. Turned this into a tech tip for our company.

Also works with Firefox.

It also works in VS Code
Other handy browser / tab shortcuts: ctrl-tab to go to the next tab, shift-ctrl-tab to the previous tab. ctrl-f4 to close the current tab.

Ctrl+W does the same thing, at least in Firefox & Chrome, and a combo I would argue is far easier on the fingers to execute

Vivaldi browser has a nicer one: Ctrl + Z 'undoes' the last closed tab. Easier to remember.

Right up until a textarea has focus and then Ctrl+Z starts undoing that text instead.

Yeah, that is a little annoying. But I still use the heck out of that shortcut, only stopping to swear when that happens.

I have no idea why dev tools is now Ctrl+Shift+I . It was always F12 and F12 still works in Chrome and Edge no matter what any new documentation may say.
And yes, I realize some streamlined keyboards may not have function keys. But, no respectable developer would have a keyboard like that for dev work.
