I write an new technical article just about every week. And I post often to technical sites.
As to my articles, I often find comments from people who seemingly were made against an article I didn't even write or they hone in on a single point, which was just a supporting factor to the entire piece.
I also often find poor sentence structure and on some of the political sites I read some of the most hate-filled messages one could ever imagine...

It all depends how clear your text instructions were. I have downloaded stuff from Code Project before and failed to get it to work, only there were no instructions in this case. Some article writers forget that their audience is a diverse one.

Point, but others who had issues gave me a little to work with, I could then figure out how it was breaking on there system. It not so much what was said but how it was said...

Nope. Not planning to ever play it: the TV ads put me right off.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

|
And how do you feel about the Game of War ad with Kate Upton?
|
|
|
|
|
I feel the same about that as I do about the Clash of Clans advert.

I don't, the CoC ad is just drivel. The GoW ones are patronising, sexist, and drivel.

From a gaming perspective, both are a joke and I don't play either. The latter just happens to target a wider audience.

Fortunately I am no longer 14, and I don't salivate uncontrollably at the sight of cleavage.
Instead, I categorise the product it advertises in the "probably rubbish if you aren't a 14 year old male" group, and ignore it.
To be honest, in the modern age with free access to the internet aren't adverts like that as patronising and sexist as the "breast out" calendars you used to see in every garage in the sixties and seventies?

Talking now as if you'd even have noticed them at all.
It must have been more like if a girl wanted your attention she'd don a shaggy ol' fleece
and go frolic through the meadows in the most teasing manner she could manage.

Nope! Women in power is really not the message you get from those calendars!

I find the spells underwhelming.
I just bust my way through.
I'd rather be phishing!

Same here. Glad that SC brought some power back to lightning spell again

We're getting spell buffs? Finally, but maybe they should work on the dragon's AI first. They're kind of... Stupid when it comes to targeting (they seem to prioritize resources, even when there is a defensive building closer to them).
Maybe a better lightning spell will make doing a dragon sweep easier again.
