Boy bands - embarrassing the world over since ... well ... forever!
|
|
|
|

That's soooo bad!
Korean, judging from the symbols in their name... Not much good comes from Korea (alright, guilty pleasure[^])!
And they DO have Gangnam Style...

I've got the pleasure of having a wife that's a complete Korean maniac. So lovely hearing all those girl bands blasting when on a long drive.
Some things can be quite catchy but I cant help making fun of them because everything feels like its mass produced. Oh a new kpop band you listen to that sound, dance and look exactly like the last.
She also loves watching Korean shows and has managed to rope me in to watching one, Running Man which I actually like a lot. Problem is that a lot of jokes doesn't get translated properly.

My best friend is into Japanese music (J-rock / visual kei).
She even married one (and will probably be divorcing him soon).
Last year she put on some music in the car that I liked, so I started checking out more of it.
Then I came across K-pop
I really don't understand all the random English, French and German words they put in their songs.
"fjsdkfsfby [Korean, whatever] Butterfly ksdfjhfsbdfy [more Korean]"
The Japanese do that too...

It's going to be late - I have to do something for Herself this morning.
I'll post it, hopefully around 10:30 - 11:00 BST.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

2 to 3 hours!
Showing off are we...
|
|
|
|
|
I wish...
No, I've got to take her to a couple of stupid meetings, arranged at the last minute by a F***wit.
Since she can't drive, I am playing chauffeur for the morning.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Time to teach her to drive, I think
|
|
|
|
|
There are a few problems there...She doesn't like "new things" - her phone is a year old now, and she still panics when she has to answer it, or make a call. She also has ... um ... anger problems if things don't work the way she thinks they should. It's bad enough with her swearing and gesticulating as a passenger - as a driver she would get up to ramming speed...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

And opposite attract. Does that make you the most chilled person round?

Nah, that's my neighbour.
If he gets any more laid back he'll be horizontal!

LOL!
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

I salute you. And you sleep beside her?
Well, my GF is fascinated with serial killers so I should be the last to speak...

I don't think that's just her. From my experience I would say it is standard issue personality trait, wife, for the use of.

you've described most drivers in the UK, so what's the problem
Every day, thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians.
Help end the violence EAT BACON

Ain't that true - last time I went to the UK several drivers actively tried to flatten me while I was crossing the road. And the same instant the semaphore goes green they are already 50 mph, doesn't matter if a person is crossing ahead.
I understand why there are almost no elder people on the streets...

Now there's a change. What you usually do for herself, normally takes max 3 minutes (or so I hear)...

Just saw this commercial.

No one knows what that means.
Not even Johnny Depp.
I guess this is the challenge of telling an audience what something smells like via television.

Big LOL!
That is an incredibly funny analysis of the commercial. You may be right on target with that.
