I guess Nagy is up again on Monday - I'll let him know.
But his answer was OGDEN NASH - anyone want to give a solution?

He's flattering you
Our leader = OG
Hideaway = den
Salty shell = Nash ( I assume he means N for salt and ash is a unix shell )

Close enough, except for the flattery!
The solution he sent me was:
Our leader's hideaway has a salty shell for a poet? [5,4]
Our leader == OG
hideaway == DEN
salty == NA [for Sodium]
Shell == SH
a poet == OGDEN NASH
Methinks he fished about to find something with "OG" at the start for me to post, then tried desperately to hammer the rest in!

Methinks you think correctly

N's nitrogen, not a salt! It would have to be Na for salt and sh for shell if that's how it's supposed to work. I assumed O + DEN in GNASH but gnash doesn't appear to have any salty connections.
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

When I go to google maps[^] today the pegman (bottom right, for activating streetview) is dressed as Link[^]
Anyone any idea why? couldn't find it on google... though Zelda is from February 1986.
PS: not sure if you also see it that way, but it seems to be like that all over the world.

Googles ways are misterious, once they had pacman as game integrated in googlemaps so you could play on the map of your hometown for example.

A colleague just had a look on google and it's the 30th anniversary of one of the Zelda games - or so he says...
