OK, the critics panned it, and by all reports people have been staying away from it in droves.
But... the computer gamers take on the actual outcome[^]

Isn't that the problem with Superman in general though? Three quarters of every story is spent coming up with some convoluted reason to justify it not ending on the first page.

It's a problem with a lot of fiction: they had it with the original Star Trek. "First things first, get rid of or disable the Enterprise"
(Second thing was "who is Kirk going to snog today?")

Surprisingly, (and I am aware that some members of this site do not believe this) I cannot read minds. Certainly not over the internet.1
So when you post just
Flair to your Blog is not working

I have no idea what the context of your messages is, or what you are trying to ask about.
There are 12 million members here, several million posts, tens of thousands of articles, tips, and blogs, and there is no context in your post to give us any idea which area of the site you are trying to discuss...
1 Unless I remove my tin foil hat, of course. And then The Voices start to whisper The Bad Things to me again, and we all know what happened last time, don't we?

Then you need to talk to the admins - and probably give them rather more info - this is a "general" forum, and it can move fast, so the admins might not notice it. Try posting here:
Bugs and Suggestions - CodeProject[^]
But do remember it's a weekend, so you may not get an instant response.

You could be missing that this is not the bugs forum....

So my VS 2015 Community setup fails with a warning that the Android SDKs (19, 21 and 23) and built tools could not be installed and that I should "check my internet connection". Yeah, right. I'm running Win 7 Enterprise, have plenty of free disk space and a fast internet connection. Tried modifying and repairing the install, but no luck - same problem.
As a result, I can't create a C# Android app (the Android template is missing). The PCL/Shared class library and iOS templates are fine.
Google and SO are unhelpful. Any clues?
Solved. All I had to do was point VS2015 to my (non-standard) Android SDK location by doing:
Tools | Options | Xamarin | Android SDK Location

When I installed the Xamarin tool at home I got heaps of issue with the Android SDK.
I hope they will get that right in the future thanks to the Microsoft acquisition!
Anyhow, there was a simple fix, I read the build output window, and it says there download this file (http:something.zip) and decompress it there (something like %USER%/AppData/Local/Xamarin/SDK/...)
And it worked after that!

Thanks. I think I may have spoken too soon regarding the lack of SO resources. I'm going to see if this[^] post helps.

What does one do about an article/tip/whatever, the code for which is half missing? By "half", I mean it just stops after a few lines.
Example: WPF Splash Screen With Minimum Duration[^]
I'd assume the author didn't upload it with pieces missing... Hungry database got the munchies?

|
|
|

Just leave the author a note at the bottom of the article. Sometimes that happens and the author usually fixes it right away!

It's three years old, and his rep graph looks like he hasn't logged in for about a year, so it's not that likely you'll get a reply.
Post a request to Sean to have a look - the code fragment looks corrupted and a quick look at the revision history says there is more code in there, so it may be a recent thing - possibly a Markdown artifact. If so, he should be able to sort it out.
Ask him here: Article Writing Discussion Boards - CodeProject[^] - but rememebr that it's a weekend, and he's Canadian so you probably won;t get a response 'til Monday.
