The way to deal with trolls is to take over any discussion they invade, and ignore the trolls themselves (giving them a prod or two to get them extra worked up is sometimes useful, before completely ignoring them).

First kick them, then ignore them.

Yup.
And there are other similarities between trolls and tyres, too -- e.g. both are dense shells with nothing but air inside.

Ah, now it all makes sense! Gideon, Dodgy Dave and Theresa NoYouMayNot have all been promoted from Scarfolk town council.

If the Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't exist, why are planets shaped exactly like meatballs?

If your meatballs are the same shape as planets you're doing 'em wrong!

FTFY!
If your meatballs are the shape of Saturn, they're probably wrong. For the others, an oblate spheroid is pretty good!

Quote: "It's a formal recognition that we are a church and that's just great," Ms Martyn said ahead of the ceremony.
Well, not so much actually! The right to solemnise marriages is not a recognition of anything in particular and never has been. I'm pretty sure that Scottish blacksmiths were never considered a church!

Depends on the country.
The reason the Greta Green Blacksmith became so popular (and famous) was that English law required a "proper" church wedding, and Scottish law didn't - it allowed a Handfasting (basically a declaration before two witnesses).

The history is there for all to see; you only have to have faith.

It is a very interesting religion, because I really spaghettis (and a lot of it)

One of the best things about it is that you don't need a tinfoil hat, any more!

Well that raises interesting possibilities. Spaghetti as a verb. Hmm.

I think it's more a case of a missing verb.
I vote for "extrude".

Seriously Nagy - stop reading now!
Phew! I'm stuffed!
Since Herself is still poorly (and to give myself an easy evening meal cookery session) I did a Full English Breakfast for lunch:
Home cured bacon (four thick slices).
Sausages (three).
Fried egg (one).
Black pudding (three slices).
Hash browns (two).
Baked beans (half a tin).
Tinned tomatoes (half a tin).
Mushrooms sauted in garlic butter (lots)
Toast (two slices)
Tea / coffee (one big mug)
It was hard enough to get it all on the plate, but now I'm pretty much incapable of movement for a while.
But...it tasted good, and it saves me cooking tonight (late biscuits and cheese when we get peckish).
Better than clear soup!

That's just mean spirited. However, I would not expect anything less from you when it comes to teasing Nagy.

Hey! No fair: I told him twice not to read it.
And I didn't mention clear soup once twice!

Hash browns sound suspiciously un-English to me! I think a slap on the wrist administered by Delia Smith under the Unpatriotic Foods Act is the very least that you deserve!

hmmm
fried egg++
toast++
Tea -> endless mug
(baked beans, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms)-- .. 'meh', could do without
but on the whole, very yummy - problem is I'd be calculating how many km it equates to on the bike - likely I'd be riding for a week to work it off
cheers Paul
btw English -> Aussie
'poorly' -> sick
'proper poorly' -> dead ??
