Sorry, had to ask. Hahaha seems legit. I tried GIMP which is fairly good due to some instruments of selection and the levels - which I forgot to use but I can manage.
I'll get a good look to the software, thank you! I know that there is a Chart Creator for RPGs but it's pretty costly and I don't really want to pirate software if I can help it.
Thanks again for the pointer (0xC00000005)!
EDIT: I looked at it, it's nice and I'll probably use it but it's thought for dungeons, not continent/nations! Well it's a start at least

I haven't used it, but this[^] looks pretty awesome for world maps. Also this one[^].
I need to go dig some rule sets out of a box...

Thanks for the reply! CC3 looks awesome... its price too 30£ =~ 45€, not a small hit.
Fractal editors are cool but they usually generate overlands casually, I need something to mark nation boundaries and create political maps from a given physical one, possibly changing some of the terrain. I'm using a Mystara world map as base - it's the only available map that is both geographically reasonable and isn't a single Pangea-like big continent. I'm planning a D-Day style landing so it needs to be plausible.

Just saw this generator[^] this morning. It seems to make nice coastal-type maps. Plus, code in JS and Python is available.

What do you do when you try and end a program you don't actually want to run and it says to you "Currently performing some background processing. This program can't close at the moment".
(OK, maybe this is rhetorical)

I would think about the truth in the statement. A big upload or some media coding can take a while.
If not: "Die you sh*tty crapware!!! I kill you now"

I look at the process manager, it it seems that it does nothing, I will kill it; if it seems to be doing something, I let it run some more.
I'd rather be phishing!

My favorite example of this is Visual Studio, when it crashes while exiting. It will catch the crash, and restart itself .

My only experience with this type of thing occurs when I'm drinking Red White & Blue. I suppose that's reason enough, you'd say to yourself; "guy's multitasking at the bar and his browser won't be graceful and the congeners are getting to his brain". But I have to say, WHEN this occurs NOW, I always think back to that time when it occured THEN.
And if I had it to do all over again, I'd simply grab the nearest chud by the neck of his Tee and smash him one in the gob.
Then see what happens.

I'm running Windows AI. When I try to run a program I really didn't mean to run, Clippy says "It seems you really didn't mean to run <application name>, so I'm going to ignore your request." I AI.

Ok so you are talking about VS2015 - I sit there patiently waiting for the bloody thing to finish, mainly because if I corrupt my primary work tool by jumping on it I'm going to feel like a right idiot as I spend 3 hours reinstalling it.
